"The Trip" Australia November 2009

We have returned to New Hampshire after a wonderful three weeks in Australia. There are too many stories and too many photos for the blog but I will just post a few of my favourites. All I can say is that we wish we could have stayed there permanently but these memories will have to hold us over until we can make the extremely long trip home again. We spent the first week in Sydney, the 2nd at Bateman's bay on the New South Wales south coast and returned to Sydney to have Jack baptized and spend the last week visiting family and friends. To take two babies, Aidan 2 and Jack 10 months on a gruelling trip, approx 42 traveling there and thirty something on return, with a 16 hour time difference to adjust to, our babies did amazingly well! We asked so much of them and they were such troopers, we are so proud of them and hope this will be just one of many trips and family memories we make over the years.

Hampton Beach

We had a beautiful morning at the beach today. We don't want to waste any of this nice weather when it might be gone very soon, so we are trying to go somewhere everyday. Aidan and Jack both love being out of the house and it gives Aidan a chance to run and get some energy out. Aidan had a lot of fun jumping over the waves. The water was quite warm and he would have gone in if I hadn't have stopped him. He also had fun chasing the "beach chickens" (seagulls) as he calls them, very cute!
