Well, the boys are growing so fast and I never seem to remember to write down all the things that they do. Everyone says this time in your life goes so fast and it does but we are loving every minute of it....
Jack: Sweet baby Jack is still very sweet with a little bit of "toddler" thrown in. He loves cuddles, soft toys, books, being the baby, bathtime, eating, sleeping, and music. He has been cruising for the last couple of months and is standing on his own. He will bounce up and down to dance to music and has to be walking soon! He is still very shy and gentle and I think his not walking is more due to his careful nature and confidence more than ability. He is a climber though and loves to sit in any box or toy he can fit in. He still loves Mickey Mouse and anything Aidan is playing with which has caused more than a few "brother fights." He especially loves to turn the t.v off when Aidan is watching his shows and wait for his reaction. He is babbling and say many words like Mumma, Dadda, Jack, brother, go, more, hi, bye bye, ball, nanna, cracker, cookie, banana, bottle and others but the most popular is "No" usually while he sticks his finger up his nose which is hilarious now at 13.5 months but not much longer. He does like the phone but no where near as much as Aidan did so my phones are safe for now anyway.
Aidan: My sweet, easy going, bright, happy, beautiful, active boy. He is such a joy and has such a good nature. He is not the wild man he used to be, he has definitely calmed down, thank god, but he still has the same spirit and sense of fun we love and hope he never loses. He loves getting out and learning anything new. He loves going out in the car and shopping. He loves other kids and will just go up and play with anyone with a big smile on his face. He still loves his cars, trucks and trains and playing downstairs. He loves to sing and dance and will copy dance routines and guitar solo's off his shows! He goes from one favourite show to another, the wiggles are on and off but right now it is the wonder pets, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, sometimes, handy Manny, Yo Gabba Gabba and a few others. He loves talking to Nanna and Pa on the phone and Skype and talks about going to Australia on the plane (I wish) He knows his colours, numbers, shapes, animals etc etc but I will probably not send him to preschool this fall because of his allergies. I don't think he understands enough yet not to eat something other than what I give him. Hopefully there will be some changes in those in the future. They say they start to grow out of some allergies from 3-5 so we're hoping!!!
On the whole we are so lucky to have the boys that we have. They are both very loving, easy going, sweet children who get compliments from other people which is always nice to hear as a parent, we love you boys!!!
