Beech Hill Farm - again!

Beech Hill Farm - again!

Some of my playgroup mum's and kids went up to Beech Hill Farm on Thursday. It was a beautiful fall day, well, until the thunder. We let the kids play on the giant sandhill then decided to go on a nature walk through the farm. We had 3 mum's with 3 strollers and 4 running 3 year olds. It was a lot of fun although there was some heavy stroller 4 or 3 wheel driving. The kids had to find the way by looking for the "blue diamonds" and they had a ball! We got half way through the walk and a thunderstorm moved in. Needless to say we hurried back to the farm to find it passed over us and we had a nice picnic lunch on the grounds.

Beech Hill Farm and Centerpoint Game Day

We made a couple of stops yesterday. We took the boys to Beech Hill Farm to see the animals and play on there giant sand hill, it's such a pretty place and the boys can play with their trucks for as long as they like for free. We then went to my friend Heather's church game day. It reminded me of the work picnics we used to go to as kids in Australia with rides, games and food set up on an oval. As usual the boys had a great time. Aidan spotted a bounce house across the field and took off running and kicking his shoes off to get on a quickly as possible, very funny. They both went on the hayride and Jack loved the train. Thanks Aunty Heather for inviting us!

Visit to daddy's office

We stopped in to see Jamie at is office the other day and also visit with Uncle Steve and Damien. The boys had fun but started to destroy the place very quickly. Jack walked straight into the glass wall of the conference room, hit his head of Jamie's desk, drew on Jamie's shirt with a yellow highlighter and on the way out Aidan fell and grazed/bruised his knee......a semi successful visit :)

Apple picking - Mack's Apples Londonderry NH 2010

Yes, I have been a very busy blogger this afternoon. Every night I say I've got to do my blog but either Jamie is on the computer, I have something on, or I am too tired to do it! We have had such a busy fun summer that I have so many photo's and the more I get, the further behind my blog gets. There are more photo's here and there but these posted today are the ones of most of the adventures we have had. Expect many more entries over the fall holidays like Halloween and Thanksgiving and of course of the Christmas period. The boys are so much fun right now we are having the best time creating all of these memories with them!

There are some really great apple orchids in our town that have U-Pick facilities. You pay for a bag and pick your own apples straight from the trees. It is early in the season and there were only a few kinds but the kids had fun and it was a beautiful September day to go. Even though it was warm there is a fall feel in the air and I think the cooler weather will hit us very fast :( So sad to see such an amazing summer leave us and head toward the winter months!!

Mall of NH indoor play area

We had to go to the mall yesterday morning and didn't realise that most stores didn't open until 12pm (it's usually 11am) so we let the kids have some time on the indoor playground. They had a great time and it was early so there were only a few kids there. I could see way too much chaos if there were too many more kids there so it was a good time to go.

Hopkinton Fair 2010

I usually go to the fair with my Mum's group friends but it was so hot this year, up in the high 90's we gave it a miss and I ended up going with Jamie and the boys a couple of days later. It is a nice little fair with lots of good food (not all fair food is edible) and is in a pretty area.
