Aidan's 1st haircut 9/26/08

We decided to get Aidan's haircut for the 1st time. We wanted him to look nice and neat for when his family from Australia arrived. He did really well and looks like such a little man now. Also, an allergy update. Aidan has been doing really well with his wheat. He also gets retested in February to see what changes there have been with the other foods he is allergic to. His Dr. thinks he may be able to do an egg challenge early in the new year, lets hope so. They even suspect there might be some changes in some of the tree nuts that had low scores. We know his milk is still the worst and he is still very reactive to it. I only have to kiss him after eating something with milk and he will get a reaction, so that one will take a lot longer to go away if ever. Peanuts is still a potential big one and we treat him the same as milk for it and he will be tested for shellfish in the next lot of tests. On the whole they say he is very healthy and progressing well.

Hi, I got to your blog via a link on Heather and Michael Cunningham's blog. I am Michael's dad, Peter.

In scanning your pictures I saw that Aidan has allergies. Have you considered that he might have Celiac Sprue which is an intolerance to gluten. Celiac can cause a number of symptoms. I have celiac disease which is why I am suggesting this. You can learn more at celiac.com.
