Spring has sprung!

We have our first spring flower's! The boys have been watching these bulbs since they first broke through the ground, they are very excited and looking forward to planting more flowers soon, they both love gardening. Our Azalea's are about to bloom as well so things are definitely looking up!

Big boy bike!

We were going to buy Aidan his first big boy bike for his birthday in July but we decided to get it for him early this weekend so that he could get the most use out of it. The kids spend half the year inside the house so we wanted him to be able to use it for the whole summer. He loves it!

We headed out to the coast for our first trip this year. We were hoping for a warmish day but it was pretty cold and after the kids played at the playground for a while we went inside the science center to warm up, fun day!

We went to visit my friend Kate the other day and took the kids to her barn to see her animals and experience some farm life and they loved it! There was some drama as something usually happens when we all get together and today's was her next door neighbour's gas was leaking! The fire dept arrived and we had to evacuate the house to her mum's house on the other side of the lake. Everything turned out fine, just added some excitement for the kid's with all the fire engines etc
